Day 10-11

I'm really enjoying these motions, and I want to see them through to the end. Again this was a two day affair spent about 10 hours on this one. Overall I'm very happy with the posing, but there's just something in the timing that's bugging me and I can't quite figure it out. Critique and help always appreciated! Also, listening to some advice I added frame counters to make critique easier.

Days 8 and 9

I'm sorry, I broke my own rules of only one cycle/motion per day. I got a bit carried away with this and I wanted to see this motion through to the end, as the last critique I received they recommended I work on giving my animations more weight. All I can say is, look at those arcs! aahhh yeaahhh :P I worked on this for the better part of 7-8 hours and I'm definitely looking forward to hearing what ya'll have to say!

Day 7

Gaaahhh!! Here was another 4 hours of work on another cycle, and I can say I'm picking up the slack. I'm happy with most of the lower body, my biggest issue are the arms. Overall though I've made some progress. Whooo one week down on the project and one week to go!

This time done for real!

Finishing this animation was like battling Odin himself, but thankfully my graphics card pulled through. I'm really thankful to my friends who helped me out with critique. As you can see, I closed in on the characters (emphasis on the "s") reworked some critical timing issues, and other minor adjustments.
Now, onward to animation cycles!

PS- I love the new Blogger labels setup.

Thanks for the critique!

I received a lot of great feedback from friends and out of respect for their time and effort I will continue polishing this piece with their great critique in mind. Also, big major thanks to my buddy who spoke the greatest words of wisdom that now enabled me to import a second Norman rig to proper scale into my scene.
Now! as originally intended for the audience, re-framed!

Animation, done!

It was a rushed process, as I wanted to allow myself plenty of time for the April 11 Second club competition, which I'm still conflicted on as I want to work on some more cycles >:) That aside I must say, I really enjoyed every step of this animation. It was a challenging processes acting out and animating a bound up character, which I feel with the time I had to work on I did a good job. Definitely something to come back to and attempt once again.

DEMO REEL!!

I was also forgetting this!!
In this day an age of communication, and with the numerous sites I post in I tend to forget to post and update each one, but anywho, what you were waiting for! My demo reel!
Hope you all enjoy it and post some feedback for me! :)

Due to unknown reasons I couldn't properly link the youtube video here, and because blogger slaughtered the quality of my reel I recommend you watch it through here:

C.O.M.P.L.E.T.E.

School is officially a thing of the past (for the time being). I'm currently tweaking and fixing my demo reel as I'm urgently searching for a job in the industry, so if you hear of any place searching for a animator, send them my way :)
Anywho, as promised, the fruit or our Lost City Production's womb I present to you our final CG animated trailer!
This is final, as most of us has gone our separate ways and no longer in the same city. But I feel critique is always more than welcomed.
Enjoy!!
